Supporters of the UN Arms Trade Treaty claim that it’s designed to combat terrorism and crime. The truth is; the treaty would CONFISCATE and BAN all guns ownedby law-abiding citizens!
Last week, the Third Preparatory Committee met for a series of discussions. The group decided thata majority vote will NOT be required for the treaty to pass! That means – all voices of dissent will be gagged and thisinternational gun-grabbing scheme could easily pass if we are not vigilant! exports.
The socialists and one-world governmentcrew is fighting hard to make the UN Arms Trade Treaty the law of the land! By stripping America of our right to keep and bear arms, corrupt dictatorsand globalists will have us under their thumb and we will be forced to SUBMIT to their radical agendas!
Civilian firearms and ammunition must not be within the scope of the United Nation’s Arms Trade Treaty. We WILL NOTcompromise on this crucial point. John Bolton, the former UN ambassador is warning Americans to be vigilantabout this treaty. He said, "[The UN] is trying to act as though this is really just a treaty about international arms trade between nationstates, but there is no doubt that the real agenda here is domestic firearms control."
The UN wants to make all firearms subject to internationallaw
The Arms Trade Treaty could:
Prohibit firearmand ammunition manufacturers from selling to the public.
Prohibit any transfer of firearm ownership.
Require US citizens to deliver any banned firearms they own to the local government collection and destruction center or faceimprisonment.
Require micro-stamping on all guns.
Destruction of "excess" firearms.
According to the Arms Trade Treaty Preparatory Committee, The UN is,"Concerned by the misuse of weaponry around the world, civil society organizations have successfully mobilized governments and parliamentariansto call for the global regulation of the conventional arms trade." It is outrageous to think that whena few violent groups get their hands on guns the UN wants to confiscate firearms from law-abiding U.S. citizens. The UN Arms Trade Treaty isnot going to convince terrorists and other violent groups to stop obtaining or using guns. Instead, the Arms Trade Treaty will make turninnocent Americans into sitting ducks for thugs and criminals.
UN Flooded WithFunding From Gun-Grabbers
International gun-grabbing groups are already grearing up to present their anti-gundata at the preparatory committee meeting for the new treaty in July. Support for the freedom crushing treaty has received a tsunami of new fundingfrom the think tank Stockholm International Peace Research Institute.
According to their website, "SIPRIis an independent international institute dedicated to search into conflict, armaments, arms control and disarmament. Established in 1966, SIPRIprovides data, analysis and recommendations, based on open sources, to policymakers, researchers, media and the interested public. SIPRI is named asone of the world's leading think tanks in Foreign Policy magazine's "Think Tank Index."
SIRI received funding from the foreign ministries of Norway and Sweden to research gun running. That funding will be used to for SIRI to engage in"unbiased" discussions at the Arms Trade Treaty meeting in July. One thing is for certain, those discussions will be biased.
While anti-gun groups like SIRI have the red carpet rolled out for them atUN Arms Trade Treaty meetings, pro-gun groups like CCRKBA have been shut out of most of the discussions. In June of 2010, my wife, JulianneVersnel, and I both worked to veto anti-Second Amendment language in the Arms Trade Treaty. We attended as NGO (non-Governmental Organization)delegates. It's no surprise that NGO representatives were told that they would be shut out of most of the meetings.
Clearly, the UN doesn't want anyone interfering with the passage of this bill. We can't win this war against gun rights alone. We needthe help of patriots like you to to pledge your support to STOP THE UN FROM ATTACKING YOUR SECOND AMENDMENT RIGHTS!
